After beating Minnesota Timberwolves and clinching the series tie, fans commented with concern about a play that reveals LBJ’s current status.

Los Angeles Lakers earned an important and necessary victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in Game 2 of the NBA Playoffs by 117-95.
While the duo of Luka Doncic and LeBron James combined for 52 points, 23 rebounds and 16 assists, there was one play by LBJ that had fans worried.
With just under 7 minutes left in the game, the Lakers took advantage of Anthony Edwards’ missed shot. Austin Reaves, who was preparing to shoot, changed his mind at the last minute and threw an alley-oop to James. However, LeBron didn’t jump and missed a layup on the rebound.
Accustomed to LBJ’s big plays, fans reacted to this situation on social network X.
“He threw too late, LeBron was already past the release point into that alley-oop,” added one user. “Tried to send Bron into early retirement,” joked another. “I literally yelled, ‘Austin, he’s 40,’ ” exclaimed another.
