Sullivan died on May 15 after falling from her horse during a display involving the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery in Home Park on the private grounds surrounding Windsor Castle. Emergency medical teams responded immediately, but she could not be saved.

The incident happened while King Charles III and other members of the Royal Family were attending the show, though Buckingham Palace later said they were not made aware of the severity of the situation until afterward.
