Four-Year-Old Girl Taken to Hospital After Being Run Over by Unattended Vehicle in Tea Garden Car Park
A four-year-old girl was rushed to hospital after an unattended vehicle rolled over her in the car park of a popular tea garden in Wirral.
Emergency services were called to Mimosa Tea Garden on Green Lane in Eastham at around 3.50 p.m. on Saturday following reports that a child had been injured in the incident. Police have since launched an investigation.
Emergency Services Rushed to the Scene
Merseyside Police said officers and paramedics attended the scene after receiving reports that a vehicle had rolled over the young girl in the tea room’s car park.
The child was taken to hospital for assessment. Authorities have not released details regarding the extent of her injuries.
Vehicle Owner Stayed and Assisted Police
According to police, the owner of the vehicle remained at the scene and has been cooperating with investigators.
Officers have begun examining the circumstances surrounding the incident and are working to determine how the unattended vehicle came to move.
