According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, the incident took place on May 29 in the 2000 block of Lobdell Drive.
Authorities say the individual left the property after being spotted by a security guard and disappeared before officers arrived.
Security Guard Interrupted the Intrusion
Police said the suspect was allegedly trespassing inside a vacant apartment when a security guard noticed the activity.
The individual reportedly left immediately, avoiding contact with responding officers.
Investigators have not released details about whether any damage occurred or if anything was taken from the property.
