Kelsey Parker has revealed she is trying for a baby in 2026 as she reflected on her tough year after suffering a heartbreaking stillbirth last year
Kelsey Parker has revealed that after enduring the most painful year of her life, she and her partner are now hoping to welcome a new baby in 2026.
Speaking on her podcast Mum’s The Word! with Georgia Jones, the 35-year-old bravely opened up about how the last twelve months changed her forever — and why she is finally daring to believe again.

After losing her unborn baby last year, Kelsey admitted that all she wants now is a fresh start.
Kelsey, who is the widow of The Wanted’s Tom Parker, explained all she wants is to have a ‘better year’ and said she will continue to try and have a baby
“I just want a better year. It was really, really tough — it was s**t,” she said. “I’m continuing on the path of asking, ‘Is there a baby this year for me?’ I could have one this year, which is exciting. I also want to keep raising awareness and continue with my charity work.”
Kelsey is mum to Aurelia, five, and Bodhi, four, whom she shares with late husband Tom Parker. The Wanted star tragically died aged just 33 in 2022 after a battle with a rare and aggressive brain tumour, glioblastoma.

In June last year, Kelsey suffered further devastation when her unborn baby — her first with partner Will Lindsay — was stillborn.
In an emotional video message to fans, Kelsey explained why she has stepped back from social media at times.
“It’s OK to not be OK all the time,” she said. “We live in a world where everyone tries to look like they’ve got it all figured out.”
She added: “Sometimes strength is being still. It’s saying I need calm, I need space to breathe. Life doesn’t stop — and for me, it never really has.”
Kelsey took to social media on Christmas eve to share how she has added her son to Tom’s memorial bench
Kelsey admitted that raising her children while navigating grief has often left her feeling overwhelmed.
“Sometimes I feel like I’m holding the whole world with my bare hands — but it’s the only thing I’ve ever known how to do,” she said. “My babies are my reason, my peace and my power.”
Over Christmas, she shared another deeply moving update, revealing she had added her late son Phoenix’s name to Tom’s memorial bench.

The plaque reads: ‘I walk towards my destiny with ease. Phoenix Parker-Lindsay.’
Alongside the image, Kelsey wrote: “Today we added our beautiful baby boy Phoenix to the bench with Tom. What gives me peace is knowing my angel boys are together — taken far too soon, but never truly gone.”
Now, as 2026 approaches, Kelsey says she is choosing hope once again — daring to believe that after unimaginable heartbreak, brighter days are still possible.
