The identities of a family of four found dead after a suspected double murder-suicide in one of Perthâs most exclusive suburbs have been revealed.
The bodies of Maiwenna Goasdoue, 49, her partner Jarrod Clune, 50, and their teenage sons Leon, 16, and Otis, 14, were discovered inside their Mosman Park property on Friday morning.
A person who provided care services for the boys, who are understood to have âsevere autismâ, raised the alarm about 8.15am after arriving at the home for a pre-arranged visit.
Police officers entered the property and discovered the bodies of the family in two separate parts of the house.
Two dogs and a cat were also found dead.
French-born Ms Goasdoue- who was known as âMaiâ to her friends â had previously described her sons as disabled.
Demographics
Part of several online support groups, she confessed her sonsâ conditions were on the higher end of the autism spectrum.
âMy two boys have that very severe level of autism. Still both very different,â she commented on one Facebook post.

Most of Ms Goasdoue family live in Morlaix, a small town in Brittany in northwest France.
Mr Clune, who comes from a wealthy and connected Perth family, grew up in the area and went to Christ Church Grammar School, where both sons are understood to have attended.
However, according to the schoolâs newsletter posted online, the grammar âbid farewellâ to Otis in 2023.
âOtis, you have demonstrated an eagerness to engage with your peers during group activities in the PMC,â a teacher wrote at the time.

âI am impressed that you are using your device to communicate during phonics. Well done for participating so enthusiastically at Bounce.â
Local children who went to school with Leon told Daily Mail the situation was a shock and âreally sadâ: âWe recognise him from school, weâve seen him around.â
A distraught neighbour said Jarrodâs mother and father used to live in the house but the couple had moved in after they left.
âJarrod is the lawnmower man around here,â she said to the Daily Mail, through tears.

âThe mum and dad moved out and Jarrod and his wife moved in. I knew one of the boys had a problem, I donât know about the other boy.â
During initial investigations on Friday, a note was located at the scene which is believed to have instructed the visitor not to enter but to call the police.
No weapon was used during the incident and there is no known history of family violence.
Fellow mum and close friend Nedra told the Daily Mail on Friday she was âshocked and devastatedâ by the unimaginable tragedy.
âMai and Jarrod were the most devoted, loving, protective parents and their whole lives revolved around their beautiful boys,â she said.
Nedra said the couple were under immense pressure as they struggled to find reliable care, particularly for one child who needed a high level of ongoing support.
âIt was incredibly hard to find anyone who could look after the boys, especially one of them with the level of support he needed,â she said.
âAnyone helping had to be just as devoted to her boys as [Ms Goasdoue] was.â

She said the pair felt increasingly isolated and unsupported by friends and  family, adding that the boysâ diagnoses could make life âdifficult and very challengingâ.
âThey often felt isolated, unsupported and abandoned by family, friends, support services, schools, the NDIS, the health system and the community in general,â she said.
âNo one can understand the endless fight to get the support and services they so desperately needed. Mai wouldnât even put her boys into respite care in case they were mistreated in any way.
âI can imagine that lack of support chronic sleep deprivation, the boys did not sleep through the night, and a long school holidays of challenging behaviours made them feel they had no other option.â
Another friend, who chose to remain anonymous, described the parents as a âstrong coupleâ who loved their children âdeeply and moved all the stones they could to ensure that they had the required supports and helpâ.
âUnfortunately they were fighting a losing battle against a system which is not here to assist,â they said.
âThis was not a domestic violence related murder suicide. This tragedy arose because two parents were so beaten down by the system, so isolated, so fearful for the future of their children that they could see no other way out.
âThey have been let down by the medical system, searching repeatedly for assistance with one of the boys.

âThey were let down by schools, who could not provide the required support, multiple therapists who put them in the too hard basket.
âTheir fear was not unfounded â disabled adults who do not have family support are frequently exposed to neglect, violence and abuse.
âWhat happened is an unthinkable tragedy. What is also a tragedy is that we live in a world where inclusion is not automatic.â
Detective Acting Inspector Jessica Securo told reporters on Friday that the deaths were being considered as a âdouble murder-suicideâ.
She said no weapon was used during the incident and there is no known history of family violence connected to those involved.
âAlthough this investigation is in its infancy, police are investigating this matter as a double murder-suicide,â she said.
She stated that the bodies of the family were located âin different parts of the propertyâ.
âThere is no ongoing risk to the community.â
Inspector Securo described the incident as âhighly distressingâ and confirmed the teenage boys had âsignificant health challengesâ.
âThis is an incredibly tragic situation for the family, the person who discovered them, and our first responders,â she said.
St John WA confirmed five ambulance crews were called to the Mosman Park address at 8.29am. Western Australia Police remain at the scene, with several surrounding streets closed as forensic investigations continue.
