Mike Tindall made a hilarious joke when asked to give his top tip about Royal Ascot. The prestigious horse racing event will begin next Tuesday, June 13 and will run until Saturday, June 20.
Mike, who is married to Zara Tindall, Princess Anne’s daughter, who is an equestrian herself, has attended the racecource several times over the years. In a recent video with The Luxury Dispatch host Tom Chamberlin, the duo gave their top tips about the grand affair. Mike said: “Never leave your hat in the toilet and forget about it.

“They’re not cheap, and people know that.”
Mike’s statement prompted laughter from Tom, who said: “That’s a good tip.”
Regarding his favourite part of Ascot, Mike revealed: “The one thing that launches it, it’s the Queen Anne stakes.
“It’s been a memorable race for many years; it’s the heritage of where Royal Ascot was founded. So, it’s the appropriate way to start the week.”
Elsewhere in the episode, Mike opened up about the royal procession, when the Royal Family arrive at the races in carriages, and said: “If it’s too hot, it’s a bit of a nightmare.”
He joked: “The sweat is ongoing. Don’t take the hat off, or it’s like, a pool of water drops out.”
Royal fans loved Mike’s interview and rushed to the comment section to praise him.
One user said: “I really like Mike. He’s a member of the Royal Family but also the guy you could see at the local pub.”
Another one added: “Princess Anne, VA Lawrence, and descendants (in-law) are the most humble of people.”
A third one chimed: “Love Mike. An expert in the relevant fields.”
