Antonio Pérez Garibay tiene 64 años y actualmente ejerce como diputado federal en representación del estado de Jalisco bajo la bandera del partido Morena.
Además de la Fórmula Uno y ver en la pista a su hijo, su pasión en el presente es la vida política; por ello se registró en el proceso para designar al coordinador del Comité de Defensa de la 4T en Jalisco, quiere ser gobernador del estado.

Tiene muchas amistades, entre las que destacan Verónica Castro y también puede presumir que ha tenido una buena relación con Luis Miguel. Su futuro está en el aire y habría que esperar si logra la candidatura por Morena en Jalisco.
