The biopic on the life of Michael Jackson, starring the grandson of the King of Pop, has faced delays and major revisions due to the portrayal of one of the people who accused him of child sexual abuse.
The film’s producers, with a budget of $150 million (142 million euros), have been forced to reshoot key scenes that violate a 1994 legal agreement with the family of Jordan Chandler, one of Jackson’s accusers.
It is reported by American media that the project has been postponed for at least six months, writes The Times.

Scenes that have been deemed problematic include the portrayal of Chandler, who in 1993, at the age of 13, was the first to accuse Michael Jackson of sexual abuse.
British producer Graham King, known for his successes with films such as “Bohemian Rhapsody” and “The Aviator,” has reportedly violated his legal agreement with Chandler in an attempt to tell the story of the King of Pop.
This development has raised concerns about how the legendary singer’s complex story will be handled in the film, as fans eagerly await the completion of the project.
