En el evento, agradeció al productor José Alberto Castro por confiar en su talento para interpretar a este personaje, destacando que la selección fue un proceso competitivo con otras actrices destacadas.
“Todas las madres queremos lo mejor para nuestros hijos, que no nos toquen a nuestros hijos porque nos duele en el corazón”, comentó Sorté, reflexionando sobre el papel de las madres y la vida real.
El regreso de Sorté a la pantalla generó emoción entre sus seguidores, quienes celebran su carrera de más de 50 años en la industria de la televisión. El productor Castro resaltó la trayectoria de la actriz y su importancia en el mundo de las telenovelas, subrayando que esta es la primera vez que colaboran de manera directa.
Sorté, además, aprovechó el encuentro para referirse a la popularidad de su hijo, Omar García Harfuch, Secretario de Seguridad Ciudadana de la Ciudad de México. Cuando los reporteros le preguntaron sobre los comentarios en redes que lo señalan como ‘el más guapo de México’, la actriz fue clara:
“Me ando acostumbrando, bendigo a todas las personas que aman a mi hijo. No (lo postulan al hombre más guapo de México), él tiene su trabajo, ama su trabajo y olvídense de la guapura, que sea un hombre responsable”, expresó.
La noticia de que García Harfuch podría ser próximo Secretario de Seguridad bajo la Presidencia de Claudia Sheinbaum también mantiene el interés en su trayectoria y en la reacción de su madre ante la fama y reconocimiento que rodean al político.
