The 42-year-old property developer travelled to Los Angeles just before Christmas
Princess Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has been warmly described as “lovely” after meeting with art and design professionals in Los Angeles, according to an Instagram post that highlighted his striking work on luxury residences.
Representatives from Galerie Provenance — a midcentury design and antique specialist with showrooms in Los Angeles and Bridgehampton — met Mr Mapelli Mozzi and associate Marco Peruzzi from Banda Property just before the Christmas holidays.
The team praised their friendliness and aesthetic sensibilities in a social media post, in addition to admiring their personally-designed Woodland House.
They wrote: “I had the pleasure to meet @edomapellimozzi and @peruz of @banda.property in Los Angeles before the holidays and they were as lovely in person as their gorgeous residences.
“This is the beautiful Woodland House.”
The brief but glowing description offered a rare public compliment focused on Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s personality rather than his high-profile royal connections.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi, 42, is a British property developer and interior design entrepreneur who has carved out his own successful career independent of royal duties.
Born in London and educated at the University of Edinburgh, he founded his company, Banda Property, in 2007, where he serves as chief executive officer and creative director.

Banda Property specialises in bespoke interior design and property development, with projects spanning prime London neighbourhoods and luxury homes abroad.
His work blends classical influences with contemporary innovation and has won acclaim among clients and design aficionados.
Despite some criticism from property commentators over claims about developing “undervalued” areas, Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s portfolio speaks to an affluent clientele and a range of highly curated homes — examples that fans and design followers have celebrated on social media.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi and Princess Beatrice, a granddaughter of Queen Elizabeth II and niece of King Charles III, married in July 2020 in a private ceremony at the Royal Chapel of All Saints at Windsor Great Park after postponing their original plans due to the pandemic.
The couple share two daughters, Sienna and Athena, and Mr Mapelli-Mozzi is also the father of a son from a previous relationship.
Together, they balance royal tradition with a relatively private family life, splitting time between London and their countryside home in the Cotswolds.
Elsewhere, Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s professional calendar has remained busy.
In late 2025, he was noted for steering his firm through international design events, including taking part in prominent panels at PAD London — one of Europe’s leading design and art fairs — where he evaluated entries in multiple categories as creative director.

He has also continued expanding his company’s reach, showcasing bespoke countryside projects and stylish urban renovations that reflect his eye for refined interiors and architectural harmony.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s son, Wolfie, was recently photographed skiing in Switzerland, while his mother, Dara Huang, remained in Florida.
This strongly implied the nine-year-old boy had joined his father and royal stepmother for a post-Christmas holiday abroad.
