El ingeniero británico dirá adiós a la escudería de Milton Keynes/ Red Bull Racing
A pesar de que Adrian Newey significará una baja sensible, Sergio Pérez considera que no es el final para la exitosa historia para Red Bull.
En entrevista para los medios de para el GP de Miami, Checo lamentó la marcha del ‘cerebro’ de la escudería de bebidas energéticas, aunque, es optimista para los que les depara en el futuro.
“Diré que no es un escenario ideal. Alguien como Adrian Newey ha sido tremendo para nuestro equipo y organización. Y también se ha convertido en buen amigo en este tiempo que hemos pasamos juntos”.
Y es que, para el tapatío, a lo mejor el ingeniero necesita nuevos aires y motivaciones: “Pero al final del día, hay momentos en la vida. Creo que ha pasado como 20 años en Red Bull y probablemente quiera hacer otra cosa. Entonces es algo justo para él”, recalcó.
“Supongo que causará un impacto inmediato dondequiera que vaya, es mucho más que un diseñador: puede influir en las estrategias y las configuraciones”.

Para Checo Pérez, la marcha del considerado mejor diseñador e ingeniero en la historia de Fórmula 1 será sensible, pero no será el fin del mundo, puesto que hay gente detrás que podrá reemplazarle.
“Creo que Red Bull está en un gran lugar, tiene una organización muy buena y está fuerte con gente como Pierre Wache, Enrico Balbo y Ben Waterhouse“.
Para finalizar, Sergio Pérez considera que los ciclos se cierran y el éxito de Red Bull es por resultados en conjunto, y no sólo por Adrian Newey: “Creo que el grupo aerodinámico es muy fuerte y miramos al futuro. Se ha visto en el pasado con estos grandes equipos y nombres cuando se van, así que tendremos éxito y que se vaya no importa”.
“No se trata de un solo individuo. Es toda una organización, y creo que Christian Horner ha hecho un gran trabajo preparándose para la próxima generación que se viene en Red Bull”.
