The visit would mark the first time the children have been back to the UK since Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations in 2022 and Meghan’s first major appearance in Britain since the late Queen’s funeral.

The trip is expected to revolve around events marking one year until the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.

The international sporting competition supports wounded, injured and sick military personnel and veterans through sport and rehabilitation.

According to sources quoted by News.com.au, the Duke has felt “great sadness” over being unable to bring his wife and children back to Britain in recent years.

The source claimed Harry has always wanted Archie and Lilibet to experience the country where he grew up and spend time with their extended family.

“He would love to introduce the children to his wider family and show them the UK, where he grew up,” the insider reportedly said.

Security Concerns Have Cast a Shadow Over Any Visit

Since stepping down as a senior royal, Harry has repeatedly voiced concerns about security arrangements in Britain.

After losing his legal challenge over automatic police protection in 2025, the Duke stated that he could not imagine bringing Meghan and the children to the UK without proper safeguards.

However, recent reports suggest that conditions for a secure family visit may now have been met, paving the way for their long-awaited return.
