The Today host recently shared a hilarious — and slightly humbling — story about how her eldest child feels about life with Secret Service nearby.

Jenna, 43, sat down for an interview where she recounted a moment that took place during a visit from her mother, former First Lady Laura Bush. The family was driving to dinner, accompanied by the usual protective detail required when Jenna’s parents are in town. While most kids might feel a little starstruck or even proud, Mila had the opposite reaction.

“She turned to me with this very serious look and asked, ‘Are you humiliated?’” Jenna said, laughing at the memory. At first, Jenna didn’t understand what her daughter meant — until Mila clarified that she meant the Secret Service agents trailing them.
