The final piece of artwork hand painted by an 18-year-old woman killed while hiking on Queensland’s Mount Beerwah has been shared online to support her family.
The woman suffered fatal injuries and her 18-year-old boyfriend is fighting for life after they fell from Mount Beerwah on Sunday morning.
Police said the pair were descending the mountain in slippery conditions after rain and fell from about 50m to 100m.
Four other hikers were uninjured during the incident.

She said the family were a treasured part of their community and they wanted to help them.
“The beautiful graphic rose is the last hand painted artwork completed be the angel we remember,” she said.
“Thank you for the continuing generosity and support shown for the family.”
Mount Beerwah had been closed to visitors until March 9 as a “precautionary measure” following the incident.
The Department of Environment, Tourism, Science, and Innovation said the risk of large rockfall above the summit route was much higher after heavy rain.
