It’s a brand-new week of MAFS but we’re still veryyyy much stuck on last night’s drama.
Before walking out on the experiment, Juliette dropped details of what Bec’s messages said about Alissa and David – and after her dramatic exit, she’s sent them to Alissa directly.
Eeek. (Nine)
“Disgusting words, sickening,” David reacts.
Of course, this all came about because Gia screenshotted Bec’s comments in a group chat from a couple of months earlier and showed them to Juliette.
She copped heat for that and ended up walking out of the Commitment Ceremony without Scott … who has woken up completely befuddled.
After their couch session, Gia is concerned that her feelings are stronger for him than his are for her.
Turns out, nothing he can say can make her change her mind about that!
Who thought we’d be turning back to this screenshot drama for something less confusing?
Alissa and David give us another recap of the content and holy moly.
You know things are terrible when the phrase “rat bitch” is the tamest of the lot!
It’s Feedback Week, which means an opportunity for everyone to meddle in each other’s relationships.
Nooo, that hasn’t been happening all season, what are you talking about?!

Shock partner swaps and unsolicited advice: Feedback Week returns with a bang
“Makes me sick in the stomach.”
It’s also the return of an absolute MAFS icon: the partner swap.
This year, everyone will be meeting up with another bride or groom for advice on their marriages.
The two least excited about this are Gia and Bec, because the idea of being matched with each other’s husbands is nightmare fuel.
But in my opinion, that is nowhere near as nightmarish as reliving Bec’s unrequited Commitment Ceremony “I love you”.
She regrets blurting it out.
“He’s got all the power in this relationship now,” she says.
Scott is very relieved to find he’s been paired with Stella.
He admits Gia’s ultimatums are making him retract, and Stella thinks Gia is looking for drama where there isn’t any because, well, she needs it – and warns that’s likely to continue in the real world too.
Scott knows he needs to dig deeper into why that is the case.
Stella gifts him a crystal which supposedly helps with communication, though I fear it’s not big enough for the job.
You’ve got your work cut out for you, lil guy! (Nine)
Stella’s other half Filip has been paired with Sam, who is concerned because at the Commitment Ceremony, Chris outlined what was basically their 10-year plan … and it was all news to him.
“I just feel I didn’t get a say or a voice at all,” he tells Filip.
Filip encourages him to work with Chris on creating a future that doesn’t mean he’s the only one making sacrifices.
Across town, Danny has arrived for his partner swap ready for advice.
Here’s hoping one of the camera people has some wisdom up their sleeve, because that’s all he’s getting today.
As he sits there like Nigel No Mates, a producer has to break the news that he’s been stood up.
Poor Nige. (Nine)
Gia is refusing to take part because she’s certain production has paired her with him. Now why would she think that?
She’s right, obviously, leaving him to a solo afternoon in the pub. The horror!
Bec is about to wish she was also ghosted.
She’s paired with David, fresh off him seeing her vile texts. He and Alissa made a pact not to bring them up, as she wants to confront Bec herself at a later date.
Sooooo, it’s not ideal that they are the first topic out of Bec’s mouth.
She places the blame for all of this on Gia and claims she wasn’t rude about them in the messages, but the words “rat bitch with her rat husband” are percolating in David’s mind.
He even breaks the fourth wall and shakes his head at us! We know, man!
Mood!!! (Nine)
“We felt like the comments were vile, disgusting, and very mean and vicious,” he tells her.
As he confirms they’ve seen them, Bec’s life flashes before her eyes.
Oh snap. (Nine)
She cries and blames Gia, telling cameras she feels sorry for herself.
It’s also taught her important lessons like don’t say rud – oh wait no, sorry, like “never put anything in text messages”.
After his afternoon out with Stella, Scott returns to find Gia sitting on the ground, staring out the window.
No, for real:
A lot of weird things happen in this show but this ranks right up there for me. (Nine)
She tells him about refusing to do the task because she (rightly) assumed she’d be meeting with Danny, and that would lead to their 436th confrontation of the season.
In response, Scott goes very light on what Stella told him.
“It was just, um, you know, um …” he says.
Enlightening stuff. I knew that damn crystal wouldn’t work!
Scott avoids the details of his conversation with Stella
Tomorrow night, the partner swaps continue – and the feedback has biiiig consequences for some couples.
See you there.
