EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight’s Bec described being dumped at Final Vows by Danny as “one of the hardest moments of [her] life”.
Speaking to nine.com.au, Bec said she “didn’t get out of bed for five days” after the break-up and detailed the brutal phone call she had with Danny days after their split.

According to Bec, Danny rang their co-star and mutual friend Sam after Final Vows and said “Tell Bec I’ll ring her in a couple of days.”
Four days went by and Bec still hadn’t heard from Danny so she called him. He didn’t answer her at first but eventually returned the call.
“He said to me, ‘I didn’t think I was enough for you. I didn’t even know if you were going to leave with me. You threw me under the bus at the last Commitment Ceremony. Love isn’t enough and I didn’t think we could bring children into this world’,” Bec began.

For Bec, Danny’s decision to break up with her was a “blindside”.
She was under the impression he was saving those three special words for Final Vows.
“He’d been telling me he was falling in love with me and was moving to Adelaide,” Bec said.

Bec thought “ultimately Danny was never honest about his feelings”.
“I think Daniel had a goal, and that goal was to make it to Final Vows and be on a TV show. I fell in love with him during that time but I fell in love with words and not actions,” she said.
“I feel like a fool but I believed him when he told me these things.”
After their break-up, Bec called Danny “a confused little boy”, noting he’d started conversations about having a family soon because she’s in her mid-30s.
“Since breaking up, a lot of the cast came to me and said ‘Bec we could see it, he wasn’t into you.’”
Bec didn’t see what her co-stars saw until it was too late and was “blinded” by her own love for Danny.

When Bec read out her Final Vows first, she promised to “always choose” Danny and told him again that she loved him.
A shaky Danny went next and told Bec he “loved her as a friend”, but he couldn’t see himself starting a family with her.

Her heart shattered, Bec remained somewhat composed in front of Danny but when she walked away she cried uncontrollably.
“I flew home that same day because I couldn’t be in Sydney anymore, and I didn’t get out of my bed for five days,” the 36-year-old said.
“I lay in bed and I didn’t eat. I just slept and cried. It was, it was truly one of the most horrific things I think that’s ever happened to me.”
Danny declined to be interviewed by nine.com.au for this story.
