Liam Payne’s bag including “pi.lls and a ‘strange’ thing” found on ground beneath balcony

Further details have emerged about the untimely and tragic death of One Direction star, Liam Payne.

The pop sensation passed away on October 16 at the tender age of 31 after a fall from his third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

TMZ reports that several items were discovered near his body following the fall. A bag was found strapped to his shoulder when his body was discovered, along with a hat either on or near him. It’s suggested he had been attempting to move from the third-floor balcony to the one below.

TMZ also highlighted a police report stating that two days after the singer’s demise, a hotel worker stumbled upon a brown leather bag — not the one found on his shoulder — on the second level veranda.

This bag reportedly contained pills, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, and a note reading: “for Liam.”

The report suggests this bag belonged to the What A Feeling singer. It appears he may have dropped the bag to the second floor balcony before planning to jump himself, reports the Mirror US.
It’s alleged that Liam was trying to exit his hotel room and had devised an escape plan via the balcony.

Just before his untimely death, the musician was seen in the hotel lobby appearing intoxicated, causing a scene by smashing his laptop, as per surveillance footage obtained by the publication. Three hotel staff members then escorted him to his suite, but Liam resisted, seemingly not wanting to be left alone.

He reportedly told the employees he didn’t want to stay in his room and threatened to leave via the balcony. Fearing for his safety, a worker dialed 911 shortly after.

The staff left him soon after, and tragically, he fell from the balcony. His hat and bag were not with him in the lobby.

The hotel has not been implicated in any way in Liam’s death. When approached, the CasaSur Hotel offered “no comment” over the claims, according to Mirror UK.

TMZ also reported that Liam disliked being confined in hotel rooms and had previously used the balcony as an escape route, most recently in September.
