More information about Liam Payne’s untimely and tragic death has surfaced.

The One Direction star died on October 16 at the age of 31 after falling from his third-floor balcony at the Casa Sur Palermo hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

When he fell from the terrace, several items were found by his body, according to TMZ.

A bag was strapped to his shoulder when his body was discovered. A hat was also found on or near Liam. He had allegedly been trying to get from the third-floor balcony to the second-floor one.

TMZ also noted that a police report, which said that just two days after the singer’s passing, a hotel worker came across a brown leather bag – not the sack that was on his shoulder – on the second level veranda that contained pills, a bottle of Jack Daniel’s and a note inside that read: “for Liam.”

The report added that this bag belonged to the Strip That Down crooner. He seemingly could have dropped the bag down to the second floor balcony before he wanted to jump himself.

Before he died, Liam was allegedly trying to leave his hotel room and had hatched an escape plan via the balcony in order to leave.

Just moments before his passing and going up to his hotel room, the musician was in the hotel lobby and appeared to be under the influence, smashed his laptop and was causing a disruption, according to surveillance footage obtained by the publication.

Three hotel employees then carried him up to the suite, however, Liam struggled with them and seemed to not want to be left alone in his room.

Liam allegedly told the employees he didn’t want to stay in his room and would leave from the balcony and a worker then called 911 just moments later, as they were afraid Liam could hurt himself. They left him soon after and he then fell from the balcony. Both the hat and the bag were not with him when he was in the lobby.

The hotel has not been accused of having any connection to Liam’s death.

TMZ also revealed that Liam was not fond of being locked up in hotel rooms and allegedly used the terrace escape scheme at previous times, most recently in September.
