Beyoncé helped break streaming records for the NFL with her highly-praised halftime show during the Baltimore Ravens-Houston Texans game on Christmas Day.
Both that game and Kansas City Chiefs-Pittsburgh Steelers aired on Netflix for the holiday, and according to a report from CNBC, they are now the most streamed NFL games ever in the United States.
A combined 65 million people across the U.S. tuned in to the two games, with the Ravens-Texans matchup averaging 24.3 million viewers, and the Chiefs-Steelers bringing in 24.1 million.
During Bey’s halftime show, however, more than 27 million viewers watched the live showcase for her country-themed Cowboy Carter album.

The games marked the start of a three-year partnership between the NFL and Netflix to stream Christmas matchups exclusively.
Beyoncé’s star-studded set included an appearance from her daughter Blue Ivy, as well as a handful of others who appear on Cowboy Carter. Post Malone joined for a rendition of their collaboration “Levii’s Jeans” while Shaboozey had earlier dueted on “Sweet ★ Honey ★ Buckiin.” She was first joined by the four women who sing alongside her on “Blackbiird,” Tiera Kennedy, Brittney Spencer, Tanner Adell and Reyna Roberts.
Shortly after the performance finished, Beyoncé went on to tease a big announcement on social media.
Alongside a video of the iconic singer sitting on a white horse waving a large American flag, the caption on the post read: “Look at that horse.”
The clip then cut to a date which read January 14.
While no more information was revealed, speculation has spread that Bey could unveil a tour or even a new album.
It’s been a merry Christmas for the “Single Ladies” legend as she recently received 58 new certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for albums and singles spanning her entire solo career.
Among them were two Diamond certifications (for sales of 10 million units), both for tracks that appear on her 2008 LP I Am… Sasha Fierce. “Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)” and “Halo” both vaulted past the 10 million mark to land at 11 times platinum (11 million units).
With sales like these for a catalog dating back to 2003 (not to mention another slew of Gold, Platinum, and multi-Platinum certifications for her work with Destiny’s Child), it’s no wonder that the singer was recently named the greatest pop star of the 21st century by Billboard.
