Today show co-anchor Craig Melvin and sports journalist Lindsay Czarniak just marked a milestone few in the spotlight can claim — 14 years of marriage built on love, humor, and shared purpose. The couple celebrated the occasion with heartfelt tributes, giving fans a glimpse into the warmth and playfulness that have defined their relationship since it began in a Washington, D.C. newsroom nearly two decades ago.

On Instagram, Czarniak shared a touching post alongside photos of the pair through the years, writing, “You’ll always be a head taller than me, but you can’t measure my love for you… I feel like the luckiest girl in the pumpkin patch to have you by my side.” Her sweet nod to their fall adventures — complete with pumpkin patch photos — melted fans’ hearts, earning thousands of likes and comments celebrating the couple’s enduring bond.

Melvin, never one to miss a chance for a romantic shout-out, followed up with his own on-air message during Today. Turning to the camera with a smile, he said, “It’s our 14th wedding anniversary today — happy anniversary, sweetie.” His colleagues cheered as fans online flooded social media with congratulations, calling the pair “couple goals.”

Their love story began in 2008 at Washington’s NBC affiliate WRC-TV, where chemistry blossomed behind the cameras. They tied the knot in 2011 and went on to welcome two children — Delano, born in 2014, and Sybil, born in 2016. Now balancing busy journalism careers and family life, Melvin and Czarniak have become known for their down-to-earth approach to love, parenting, and purpose.

That purpose took on deeper meaning after tragedy struck in 2020, when Melvin’s brother Lawrence Meadows passed away from colon cancer. In his memory, the couple co-founded the Bottoms Up Invitational, a celebrity golf and concert event benefiting the Colorectal Cancer Alliance. Since its launch in 2022, the initiative has raised over $4.4 million for awareness and research — and this year alone brought in another $1.1 million.

Czarniak shared her gratitude on Instagram, writing, “We already have such full hearts. Simply blown away by the support for our Bottoms Up Invitational… thank you from the bottom of our hearts.” Melvin added in his own post that the event was “a party with a purpose” honoring survivors and caregivers alike.

Though both maintain demanding schedules — Melvin co-anchors Today and Czarniak contributes to sports networks and podcasts — their marriage continues to thrive on laughter, shared goals, and family values.
