Meghan Markle gearing up to make ‘announcement’ as expert spots major clue

EXCLUSIVE: An expert believes Meghan Markle is preparing for her next announcement.

Meghan Markle could be preparing to make an announcement on Instagram soon, according to an expert. The Duchess of Sussex, 43, has been radio silent on her personal instagram account @meghan recently, having last posted on the account almost three weeks ago.

While there may be no real meaning behind this, a brand and culture expert believes Meghan could be “building momentum” for a new upcoming announcement through her online radio silence. This is because the duchess tends to post on her account fairly recently, something that has not been the case since July 4.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, brand and culture expert Nick Ede said: “I think that it’s a way of building momentum and so she can make a new announcement, which once again will gain column inches.”

Talking more about her lack of Instagram posts, Mr Ede said: “It’s tough for her to have her As Ever brand Instagram and her Meghan Instagram, and which ones she uses to push her brand.

“If she’s sold out then there’s no reason to push it on her personal socials as people will complain.

“The issue is that we all know with social media it’s about consistency and speaking to your audience and it doesn’t feel like she’s grasping that side of things.

“It may be that she genuinely doesn’t have anything to actively promote so she’s taking a back seat for a while on that side of things but her followers may desert her.”

While it is not known if an announcement is on the way, Meghan has continued posting on her As Ever account over the last few weeks.

Her last post was on July 14, in which she shared a photograph on her brand account of her holding a cup of tea with her dog Mia standing up with a paw on her arm.

The caption read: “Summer afternoons, mint tea, and the sweetest company (Hi, Mia!).”

Meghan is yet to announce when her next As Ever product drop will be, with the Duchess having launched her first ever wine on July 1, which sold out on the same day.
