Queen Elizabeth II’s corgis appear to have moved to Sandringham alongside Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor following his eviction from Royal Lodge.

The two pets were seen on a walk by the former Duke of York’s private protection team at what appears to be his temporary accommodation, Wood Farm.

Andrew and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, adopted the corgis following the late Queen’s death in September 2022.

The dogs named Muick and Sandy were confirmed to “stay with the family” by Buckingham Palace in a subtle message last October.

The images suggest that Ms Ferguson will be without the pups while she continues to search for her new home.

The former Duchess of York boasted about having the honour of looking after Queen Elizabeth II’s pets.

In September, she wrote on social media: “Today marks three years since the death of HM Queen Elizabeth II. Her majesty will be forever loved, always missed, and never forgotten.

“Not a day goes by when I don’t think of the kindness I was unstintingly shown in good times and bad. Caring for Her Majesty’s beloved corgis is an honour and a daily reminder of the times we shared together.”

The spotting of the corgis comes after King Charles and Queen Camilla made their position clear over the connections between Andrew and convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

A Palace spokesperson has said: “The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.

“While the specific claims in question are for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police we stand ready to support them as you would expect.

“As was previously stated, Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse.”

The King and Queen have come under calls to “answer questions” about Epstein from a leading US Democrat.

Ro Khanna, who helped force the release of the Epstein files, said this is the “most vulnerable [the Royal Family] has ever been” following Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s connection with Jeffrey Epstein.

He warned that this could “bring down the British monarchy” after the former Duke of York appeared to be named and pictured numerous times in the more than three million documents released by the US Department of Justice.

A former girlfriend of Andrew, Lady Victoria Hervey, attempted to defend those mentioned in the files, telling LBC it was “an insult” not to be and “would just mean you are a loser”.

Referring to her comments, Mr Khanna said these positions offer a “window into the elite impunity”.

He continued: “And by the way, I think this is the most vulnerable the British monarchy has ever been. I mean, I heard they were asking the Queen questions about the Epstein class.

“They ought to ask the King and Queen questions, and maybe this will be the end of the monarchy.

“The King has to answer what he knew. What he knew about Andrew.”
