King Charles has ‘washed his hands of Prince Harry and Meghan’ in shock update
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to travel to Australia next month.

King Charles is said to have “washed his hands of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle”, as one royal expert claims he has “more important things to worry about”. The couple are set to visit Australia next month, their second “faux royal tour” within a few weeks.
Since stepping down as senior working royals in 2020, Harry and Meghan have been criticised for carrying out visits that mirror the structure of official royal tours and engagements. Speaking candidly on TalkTV, royal commentator Ingrid Seward voiced her opinions on the couple’s upcoming trip – and detailed what the King will likely be thinking about his youngest son and daughter-in-law’s plan.
She said: “I think they are lucky they were in the Middle East a few weeks ago and they are not there now. They are obviously trying to promote themselves, and they need to keep a high profile in order to make money.”
Discussing the King, she added:”I think the King has probably slightly washed his hands of them.
“He’s got plenty of other things to worry about. They do what they like up to a point. I think he has got more important things to worry about than what Harry and Meghan are doing at this moment.”
King Charles has experienced a turbulent couple of weeks with the Epstein scandal involving Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19.

The disgraced royal, who was celebrating his birthday on the day of his arrest, was released after 11 hours under investigation.
The King was heckled by a large group of protesters ahead of the Commonwealth Day service on Monday.
Protesters from the anti-monarchy group Republic gathered outside Westminster Abbey holding up large yellow signs that read “Charles, what did you know?”
