Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have received criticism for using their Australia tour to make money this week. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who have completed their trip to Australia, are reportedly pleased with how their engagements went.

However, this has not meant the tour went without criticism, especially for Meghan who is reportedly earning money from an online shopping platform built around the outfits she wore on charitable engagements in Australia. This is something that has not pleased royal fans.

In a new poll, results have shown that a four-to-one majority of Britons are opposed to Harry and Meghan, who quit royal life in 2020, using their titles for commercial gain.

The poll, conducted by The Mail on Sunday, also reportedly raised new questions about how the couple are using their Sussex titles for certain money-making opportunities.

For example, on their final day in Australia, Meghan stepped out at the women-only Her Best Life retreat, where she spent just a few hours with female fans.

The Mail on Sunday reported that the attendees at the event paid up to £1,700 to ask Meghan questions and pose for pictures with her.

This engagement alone could reportedly see Meghan receive up to £130,000 just for turning up.

The Royal Family have not commented on the matter, with Harry and Meghan also not making any comments about the money they made on their Australia trip.

However, it is believed they are pleased with how the tour went and the warm reception they received.

The visit to Australia was the first time the couple had returned since they carried out a royal tour there in 2018.
