Baton Rouge police are urgently searching for a 15-year-old boy who disappeared days ago, as loved ones desperately hope someone recognizes him and helps bring him home safely
A Louisiana family is facing every parent’s worst fear after 15-year-old Ja’Derrius Minnieweather was reported missing.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Ja’Derrius was last seen in Baton Rouge around 2 a.m. on Friday, June 5.
Days later, there has still been no sign of the teenager, prompting police to ask for the public’s help as concern continues to grow.
For his family and friends, every passing hour without answers is agonizing.

Authorities say Ja’Derrius was last seen wearing:
Black sweatpants
A gray and black Jordan shirt
Red Nike slippers
Police describe him as approximately 5 feet tall and weighing about 98 pounds.
He has black-and-brown dreadlocks and brown eyes.
Investigators have not released details regarding where he may have been headed or why he disappeared.
