The news has left both her colleagues and loyal fans in complete shock, with the love and support for the 54-year-old dating expert pouring in from around the world.

After months of battling chemotherapy and multiple rounds of treatment, Mel shared the devastating news with her fans, explaining how the cancer metastasized from her lungs to her brain. In an Instagram post that tugged at the hearts of millions, she said: “My light is starting to fade — and quickly. But I am still here, still fighting, and surrounded by the most incredible love.”
