Princess Eugenie’s husband ‘refuses to let Sarah Ferguson move in to family home’

Princess Eugenie’s husband is reportedly keeping one strict rule when it comes to their home, amid the constantly unfolding Epstein scandal. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s youngest daughter remains caught up in the crosshairs of his involvement with convicted paedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The former prince was stripped of all titles and arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has always vehemently denied any accusations against him and was released under investigation.

Disgraced Sarah has not been seen in public since December, when she attended the christening of Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Athena, at St James’ Palace in London.
Her exact whereabouts remain a mystery after she and her ex-husband were forced to leave Royal Lodge in Windsor, where they had lived for almost 20 years.
But the former Duchess of York hasn’t moved in with either of her daughters, and, according to sources, Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, won’t allow it.
According to a source close to the family, Jack has a “code of honour” that means he won’t “completely desert Andrew and Sarah”, but he won’t “step into the line of fire himself”.
The source told the Mail: “His first loyalty has to be to his wife and their two young children. The whole sordid affair has already brought them a great deal of unwarranted attention, and he won’t do anything to increase that.”
The owner of a consultancy firm is reportedly concerned about the impact the scandal could have on his business and that his family will be “tainted by association”.
The source added: “Jack has worked very hard building his business, and it’s going well, so the last thing he needs is for the Epstein scandal to taint that. He will do everything he can to keep his head below the parapet because of that.”
The couple reportedly hope Sarah Ferguson will not ask to move in with them. A second source said: “Eugenie and Jack are resisting any suggestion from her mother that she should come and live with them.
“Because, to be frank, Sarah is difficult to live with and they don’t want the responsibility of looking after her at the moment. That’s not to say they are not concerned about her welfare – they just don’t actually want her to be living with them, even temporarily.”
Sarah Ferguson’s past friendship with Epstein and the mentions in the Epstein files do not indicate wrongdoing.
Beatrice and Eugenie have not commented on the matter.
