Jeremy Clarkson has shared a striking new update about his health following a major heart scare in 2024 — revealing how a weight-loss injection helped transform his life in the aftermath.

The Clarkson’s Farm star turned to the drug Mounjaro after experiencing tightness in his chest at the age of 64, a frightening episode that sent him to hospital for urgent tests. Although a heart attack was later ruled out, doctors discovered blocked arteries and rushed him into surgery to clear them.
Six months after starting the jab, Clarkson says he has shed more than three stone and even had to replace much of his wardrobe following the dramatic transformation.

Opening up about the journey, he admitted that while his weight loss has now plateaued, the medication continues to control his appetite.
“I’ve plateaued now. I’m still on it, but not losing any more weight – but nor am I putting any on, because it keeps my appetite level down,” he said. “It really is an astonishing drug.”
Speaking to The Sun, Clarkson explained that the improvements have gone far beyond the scales.
“I can go much further, I can take the dogs out for longer now, so it keeps Lisa happy. I’m much healthier,” he said.
However, the change has not been without side effects. Although he has avoided common issues such as constipation and a drop in libido, his long-time girlfriend Lisa Hogan has noticed a shift in his mood.
Clarkson admitted he feels “a bit duller” and “not quite as sharp”, but insists he is satisfied with how far his recovery has come.
He also hinted that fans will see the impact of the health scare in the next series of Clarkson’s Farm.
“It’s been shocking these last 12 months, on every front,” he revealed. “Anyone who thinks season five of Clarkson’s Farm is a barrel of laughs is in for serious disappointment.”
The TV presenter has previously detailed just how close he came to a more serious outcome.
“It seems that of the arteries feeding my heart with nourishing blood, one was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way,” he told The Sunday Times. Doctors fitted a stent to keep the artery open.
This wasn’t Clarkson’s first brush with serious illness either. Back in 2017, he was diagnosed with pneumonia, a scare that finally prompted him to quit smoking after 43 years of consuming up to 40 cigarettes a day.
Now, following heart surgery, weight loss and a total lifestyle overhaul, Clarkson’s candid update has left fans both shocked and deeply moved — and waiting to see what the next chapter of his journey will reveal.
