I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! bosses are bringing back a fan favourite – the live trial. The challenge is set to be reintroduced on the ITV reality show this week.
It will be the first time that the live trial has been seen in the Australian jungle since 2019, although there was one in 2020’s series of the show, which took place in Gwrych Castle in Wales amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Show bosses have revealed that the special trial will be called Cocktails of Cruelty and that, as its name suggests, it will be a drinking trial that will see campers go head to head.
Some details have also been shared, with I’m a Celebrity teasing that “the stakes are high” and that “the celebrities will definitely want to win this Trial”.

As the challenge gets under way, the stars will each have to select two “delicious” jungle ingredients that the camper going up against them in the head to head contest will then have to drink.
The ITV show’s hosts Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will tell the stars when they can start drinking their stomach-churning beverages.
From that moment the race is on, as the first celebrity to down their drink and put their glass back on the table will win the challenge.
