The Princess of York joined friends for Lauren De Niro Pipher’s 40th birthday weekend
Princess Beatrice made a glamorous appearance at a milestone celebration in Italy in April, it has just emerged, joining Juliet wine founder Lauren De Niro Pipher for her 40th birthday weekend.
The 37-year-old royal was photographed at the exclusive La Posta Vecchia Hotel near Rome, dressed in a striking floor-length creation by British designer The Vampire’s Wife.
The princess opted to wear the multi-coloured ‘Susie Ruffled Floral-Print Silk-Satin Maxi Dress’, with her hair worn loose and straight.
Ms De Niro Pipher described the gathering on Instagram: “Friends joined from five countries. Some knew each other, many didn’t.

“No drama, no early mornings, barely any phones except to capture moments.”
Beatrice’s husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, liked the social media post.
The birthday festivities saw Beatrice change into another botanical ensemble, this time opting for Australian label Zimmermann.
She selected the ‘Whitewave Tiered Dress in Navy Poppy Floral Print’, which featured sheer detailing on the bodice and sleeves for an elevated evening aesthetic.

The royal completed the look with black formal shoes and understated accessories.
Sydney-based Zimmermann has long been a favourite in Beatrice’s wardrobe, with the princess previously sporting the brand at Royal Ascot in 2022.
The designer is also popular among other senior royals, including Zara Tindall, the Duchess of Edinburgh and Queen Mary of Denmark.
The Italian getaway represented a rare public sighting for Beatrice, who, alongside her sister Princess Eugenie, has maintained a notably low profile amid ongoing controversy surrounding their parents.
