Harriet Sperling tipped to pull major move as wedding to Peter Phillips just days away

Harriet Sperling will soon be marrying into the Royal Family, and experts expect her to pull a major move on the day. Peter Phillips and Harriet will tie the knot in Gloucestershire on Saturday, June 6.
The special wedding ceremony in the Cotswolds will take place at All Saints Church in Cirencester. It will be the second time both Peter and Harriet are getting married.
Princess Anne’s son was previously married to Autumn Kelly from 2008 to 2021. Meanwhile, Harriet was married to Antonio St. John Sperling.

Now, a jewellery expert has weighed in on whether Harriet will be wearing any grand jewels from her future mother-in-law’s collection.
Nilesh Rakholia, Founder of Abelini, explained there is a chance for Harriet to borrow royal jewellery despite not holding a title, as Peter’s ex-wife previously used Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara at their 2008 wedding.
He said: “Peter Phillips’ first wife, Autumn Kelly, wore Princess Anne’s Festoon Tiara at their 2008 wedding, which means there is already a clear precedent for Harriet Sperling being loaned royal jewellery despite not holding a title.
“Within royal and aristocratic weddings, tiaras are often more about family inclusion and occasion dressing than formal rank. What makes this wedding particularly interesting is that it is also a second marriage for both Peter and Harriet.”
The expert added that second royal weddings often lean towards softer, less ceremonial jewellery, citing Queen Camilla’s decision not to wear a tiara at her 2005 wedding to King Charles.
He said: “Historically, second royal weddings tend to lean much more understated in their jewellery language, with less emphasis on overt bridal grandeur.”
He claimed that Harriet’s jewellery will likely sit somewhere between private family sentiment and subtle royal tradition.
The expert said: “If Princess Anne were to loan Harriet a tiara, I would predict the Meander Tiara as the strongest possibility.
“We could just as easily see Harriet wear pearl earrings, a delicate diamond rivière necklace or one of Princess Anne’s more understated heirloom pieces instead. That approach would still acknowledge royal tradition while keeping the overall aesthetic intimate and modern.”
