Tragic new details have emerged following the death of a nine-month-old baby in Adelaide’s north.
Police and paramedics were called to a home in Elizabeth Downs on Wednesday evening to reports of an unresponsive boy.
It has now been reported that the tot was tragically discovered unresponsive in a family mini-van after his mother discovered he was not in his bedroom as she thought.
Neighbours have reported frantic scenes as the 31-year-old, believed to be a mother of six, found him unresponsive in the vehicle.

One neighbour, speaking to the Adelaide Advertiser, said the parents ran door-to-door pleading for help and were begging the boy to wake up.
Another neighbour told the Advertiser they had started CPR and were able to restore a faint heartbeat.
Paramedics then also attempted to resuscitate the infant but were unable to save him.
On Thursday, police confirmed that the woman had since been charged with criminal neglect and was bailed to appear at Elizabeth Magistrates Court on April 14.
Baby items, including a potty, bouncer and bath, were found strewn outside the Midlow Rd property.
