Kensington Palace has shared a very special new video ahead of Princess Catherine’s Together at Christmas carol concert, which returns to Westminster Abbey for the fifth time tomorrow. The new clip, which was shared on the Prince and Princess of Wales’s YouTube channel, shows a number of famous faces visiting RHS Wisley Garden to make wreaths which will be on display during the service.
Ambassadors and Friends of the RHS, including Dame Mary Berry, Angelica Bell, Tom Allen, Arit Anderson and Simon Lycett, all make an appearance throughout the clip as they work to create their festive designs.
The new video comes just days after the Princess shared the personal message she has written to guests attending her annual concert.
As the video began, the stars began foraging around the garden’s grounds for the perfect items to make their wreaths, as staff joked that the only reason they were allowed to do so was thanks to Dame Mary Berry’s presence.
Spirited competition ensued as the stars broke off to their separate stations to begin their work. They were all helped along by talented local schoolchildren and cracked jokes about one another’s progress.
Naturally, Dame Mary Berry was crowned the winner, as she was handed a second wreath, suitably decorated with dried fruit and cooking utensils. Her co-stars had the rest of the group in hysterics as they jokingly chanted “It’s a fix!”

This year’s Christmas carol service will celebrate individuals from across the UK who may have dedicated or volunteered their time to be present with others, led initiatives that bring people in their community together, or offered a helping hand to those around them.
Another vital element this year is the importance of sharing love at Christmas through small gestures, whether that is through words of comfort, friendly conversation, or just being there.
In a message to the 1,600 guests who have been invited to the concert, Catherine wrote: “These simple acts of care might seem small, but they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong. Christmas is a time that reminds us how deeply our lives are woven together.
“Just as the roots of trees share strength beneath the soil, unseen but vital, so too do we. “We are drawn by an instinctive pull towards belonging and connection.”

Elsewhere in the message, Catherine opens up about the “power of reaching out to one another with generosity of heart, understanding and hope” and the effect small gestures can have on others.
She says: “These simple acts of care might seem small, but they contribute to the beautiful tapestry of life to which we all belong. Christmas is a time that reminds us how deeply our lives are woven together. Just as the roots of trees share strength beneath the soil, unseen but vital, so too do we.”
The Princess’s Together at Christmas service will take place on Friday and will air on ITV1 and ITVX on Christmas Eve at 7.30pm.
