Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate were absent from today’s outing
Peter Phillips reunited with King Charles and other members of the Royal Family for a church service at St Mary Magdalene Church this morning.
Princess Anne’s son public appearance today followed his absence from royal Christmas Day festivities earlier this week.
The King’s eldest nephew arrived at the Sandringham estate church accompanied by his fiancée Harriet Sperling, an NHS nurse to whom he became engaged in August.
The 77-year-old monarch greeted chaplain Reverend Paul Williams with a warm handshake as crowds gathered to watch the royals arrive.

Queen Camilla, Prince William and Princess Kate were absent from the outing.
The Duke and Duchess of Edinburgh’s children, Lady Louise Windsor and James Wessex, also did not join their parents for the service.

The gathering also included David Armstrong-Jones, the 2nd Earl of Snowdon, who was joined by his daughter Lady Margarita Armstrong-Jones.
Peter’s sister Zara Tindall had been present at the Christmas Day celebrations that her brother opted to miss but did not attend the service today.

The previous year, Harriet had been working over the festive period, but this time the couple chose a quieter celebration away from public attention.
Their engagement was announced in August with Harriet set to become the newest addition to the Royal Family once they wed.
The King is anticipated to remain at the Sandringham estate throughout the remainder of the festive period before resuming official duties in the new year.
A quieter week lies ahead for the monarch following Thursday’s Christmas gathering, which he hosted for the wider Royal Family at the Norfolk residence.
