Princess Charlene made a striking appearance at Monaco’s annual Christmas Ball on Friday, donning a stunning white Jenny Packham creation that immediately drew comparisons to the Princess of Wales.

The 20th edition of the prestigious charity gala took place in the Empire Room of the Hôtel de Paris, with Charlene and Prince Albert hosting the evening’s festivities.

The Monegasque princess’s ethereal gown bore a remarkable resemblance to Princess Kate’s celebrated gold dress from the No Time To Die premiere in 2021, which was also designed by Jenny Packham.

Fashion observers noted the look as another indication of Charlene’s evolving royal style.

Charlene’s gown hails from Jenny Packham’s spring/summer 2026 collection, making it a true fashion premiere as the pieces are not yet available to purchase.

The design featured a flowing, elongated silhouette with a delicate pleated cape cascading from the shoulders, lending an almost ceremonial quality to her appearance.

A wide belt adorned with gold-toned beading cinched the waist, introducing both drama and refinement to the ensemble.

The white fabric carried very subtle hints of pastel blue, creating a luminous effect that suited both the festive occasion and the bridal-inspired aesthetic Charlene has favoured in recent public outings.

The parallels between the two royal looks proved impossible to ignore, with both gowns sharing a deep V neckline, flowing cape detail, and jewelled belt at the waist.

Where Kate opted for gold at the Bond premiere, Charlene chose a more understated interpretation with her white and pale blue palette.

This fashion alignment appears to be part of a broader pattern, as Charlene recently wore a green dress from a British label frequently spotted in the Princess of Wales’s wardrobe.

The shift suggests Charlene is increasingly embracing a classic, timeless aesthetic that mirrors Kate’s refined royal approach.

The gala served its primary purpose of raising funds for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation, which focuses on drowning prevention and promoting childhood education through sport.

Sotheby’s organised a charity auction during the evening, with all proceeds directed to the foundation’s initiatives.

Charlene was also honoured with the Monaco Star award, presented by Sandrine Knoell, recognising her dedication to children’s causes.

The princess completed her look with diamond climber earrings, a side-parted updo featuring soft waves reminiscent of classic Hollywood, and makeup with dramatically defined eyes and natural lip tones.
