Meghan Markle was mocked by fans after she experienced a beauty faux pas during her latest appearance at the Sundance Film Festival. The Duchess of Sussex joined her husband, Prince Harry, at the second screening of a documentary they executive-produced, titled Cookie Queens

Meghan wore a navy blue coat with black trousers and a cream jumper. She kept her make-up minimal, bronzy and fresh, while her hair was tied back in a sleek ponytail.
However, those on social media were quick to point out that her hair extensions were visible on the left side of her head.

One user asked on X: “What am I looking at here? The makeup is too dark and does not match her neck and what is up with the back of her head?”
A second user said: “Bad hair extensions.”
A third account added: “Is that hair extensions or something back behind her ear?”

A fourth one commented: “That weird clump of hair right behind her ear looks more like a big tangle.”
A final person explained: “You can see where the extensions are bound into her hair.”

On Sunday, Meghan gave a speech before the film began and said she felt very “proud and privileged” to be supporting it.
She said: “My husband and I and our Archewell Productions… we are so proud and privileged to be able to support and uplift Cookie Queens.
“This film, yes, is probably the cutest at the festival.
“But I’m also going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the most powerful and meaningful depictions of something that is an American tradition and rooted in nostalgia.”
