The 44-year-old royal struggled to keep her plum-coloured fedora from being swept away in the tempestuous conditions that have brought widespread disruption across Britain.

 

Princess Anne’s daughter appeared at the inaugural day of the November Meeting, which honours rural traditions alongside premier horse racing, despite the severe weather warnings.

Wearing a matching purple roll-neck jumper beneath a belted tweed coat, complemented by pearl earrings, she visibly fought against the elements throughout her appearance.

Fresh documents released by the US House Oversight Committee on Wednesday have reignited scrutiny of Andrew’s connections to convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
