Princess Kate sent Prince William a secret message today during the poignant Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph, a body language expert has claimed. The Royal Family put up a united front as they made an appearance in central London to honour those who have been lost during conflict.
King Charles led the nation in the touching ceremony attended by thousands of veterans. Charles, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Edinburgh and the equerries of the Queen and the Duke of Kent all laid wreaths at the war memorial as Camilla, Kate and Duchess Sophie watched from a balcony at the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office.
Now, a body language expert claimed Kate’s stance sent a strong message to her husband.

Body language specialist Judi James told the Mirror: “Kate almost took the visual role of the more dominant royal here, standing tall, straight and virtually immobile to the front, wearing a solemn expression, while Camilla appeared happier to stand slightly behind her to her right, glancing at her order of service and looking around.
“Camilla chatted to Kate at some point, and Kate did respond with a warm, receptive smile but her preferred mood seemed to be one of respectful reflection.”
She added about Kate’s message to her husband: “Despite her very elegant look, though, Kate did seem unable to keep herself from throwing a checking glance down at her husband as he walked out behind his father.
“Her expression softened slightly with what looked like pride but when William walked back into the building after the service, she did relax enough to flash a specifically-aimed, dimpled smile of approval and support.”
Today’s wreath-laying ceremony was held after a two-minute silence was observed in the heart of Whitehall and at war memorials in villages, towns and cities across the country.
A gun was fired to mark the end of the silence before the Last Post was sounded by the Buglers of the Royal Marines.
Ahead of the service, around a dozen people wearing military uniforms and poppies were pushed in wheelchairs in Whitehall while respectful applause rang out near the Cenotaph, and one of the veterans saluted.
