Sarah Ferguson has not been seen in public since December and her exact whereabouts remain a mystery after leaving Royal Lodge – but sources say Princess Eugenie’s husband Jack Brooksbank is resisting her moving in

Princess Eugenie’s husband is reportedly maintaining one firm boundary regarding their household, as the Epstein scandal continues to develop. Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s youngest daughter finds herself entangled in the aftermath of his association with convicted paedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.
The former prince had all his titles removed and was arrested in February on suspicion of misconduct in public office. He has consistently and strenuously denied all allegations levelled against him and was released pending further investigation.
Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson hasn’t been spotted publicly since December, when she attended the christening of Princess Beatrice’s daughter, Athena, at St James’ Palace in London.
Her current location remains unknown after she and her former husband were ordered to vacate Royal Lodge in Windsor, their residence of nearly 20 years.
However, the former Duchess of York hasn’t relocated to live with either of her daughters, and, according to insiders, Eugenie’s husband, Jack Brooksbank, is opposed to the arrangement, reports the Express.

A source close to the family reveals Jack maintains a “code of honour” which means he won’t “completely desert Andrew and Sarah”, but equally won’t “step into the line of fire himself”.
The source told the Mail: “His first loyalty has to be to his wife and their two young children. The whole sordid affair has already brought them a great deal of unwarranted attention, and he won’t do anything to increase that.” The boss of a consultancy firm is said to be worried about the potential impact the scandal could have on his business and fears his family will be “tainted by association”.
An insider revealed: “Jack has worked very hard building his business, and it’s going well, so the last thing he needs is for the Epstein scandal to taint that. He will do everything he can to keep his head below the parapet because of that.”
The couple are reportedly hoping Sarah Ferguson won’t request to move in with them. Another source disclosed: “Eugenie and Jack are resisting any suggestion from her mother that she should come and live with them.
“Because, to be frank, Sarah is difficult to live with and they don’t want the responsibility of looking after her at the moment. That’s not to say they are not concerned about her welfare – they just don’t actually want her to be living with them, even temporarily.”
Sarah Ferguson’s previous friendship with Epstein and the mentions in the Epstein files do not suggest any wrongdoing. Beatrice and Eugenie have remained silent on the issue.
