Another witness reported hearing a “loud pop”
A HAUNTING 911 call reveals the moment a witness spotted the “fireball” explosion of NASCAR legend Greg Biffle’s plane after it crashed near a runway, killing all seven people on board.
The witness told 911 operators that there was definitely “nobody alive” after the fiery disaster.

On December 18, a man called the first responders as he watched Biffle’s Cessna C550 hit a tree line and explode.
The witness reported that the aircraft was “down and burning.”
“Pretty big-sized fireball, a lot of black smoke,” the caller described.
“Whoever was on the plane probably didn’t make it. It’s a big fireball.”
When asked what he saw happen, the caller said that the plane was “fully engulfed.”
“I can see the tail section, but the rest of the plane…. Looks like a small private jet.”
The 911 operator then asked if the witness believed anyone could have survived the crash.
“There is nobody alive,” he calmly responded.
“There’s no way they could survive it. Looks like it hit short of the runway. Here comes the fire engines.”
The crash took place in Statesville, North Carolina, about an hour outside of Charlotte.
Biffle, his wife Christina, his daughter Emma, and his son, Ryder, were all killed on board.
The 14-year-old daughter, Emma, was laid to rest on Monday at the Cain Center in Cornelius, North Carolina, a 40-minute drive from where the crash took place.
Also killed were Craig Wadsworth, along with father and son, Dennis and Jack Dutton.
Another local witness also reported hearing alarming noises as the aircraft lifted off.
Dennis Dutton’s former neighbor, Jonathan Donoghue, told The U.S. Sun, “All I know is that there was a large, loud pop, as something broke on the plane at takeoff.”
Security cameras captured the plane hitting the ground and bursting into flames on impact.
The plane was en route to Sarasota, Florida, but it only stayed in the air for about 10 minutes before exploding.
The National Transportation Safety Board reported that the aircraft circled back just minutes after taking off from the airport, and officials are still investigating the cause of the sudden and erratic U-turn.
Officials have yet to share who was piloting the plane, as three people on board, including Biffle, held pilot’s licenses.
“We do know three of the occupants did possess a pilot’s license, but we have been unable to verify that at this time, but that’s one of the things we’re working on,” NTSB Member Michael Graham said during a press conference in December.
