Yesterday, Princess Kate stepped out at Windsor Castle for a surprise engagement with Prince William and the Crown Prince and Princess of Jordan. She wore yet another impeccably tailored suit.

A soft beige two-piece from Roland Mouret layered over a delicate pussy-bow blouse that exuded sophistication. And dare I say, it was very Meghan Markle – which, at this point, feels far from coincidence.

Just a week earlier, Meghan, 44, and Prince Harry attended theProject Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival in New York. 

The Duchess opted for her signature ensemble – a sleek black Giorgio Armani power suit defined by clean lines. Her silhouette was sharp yet understated, embodying her refined take on modern professionalism.

It was the perfect fusion of business and sophistication. A formula Meghan has impeccably mastered since stepping away from royal life.

Fast forward a few days, and here’s Kate, 43, echoing that same aesthetic. Gone are the jewel tones, printed frocks, and statement coat dresses of royal engagements past.

In their place? A rotation of streamlined trouser suits in taupe, olive, and soft camel – the exact palette Meghan has favoured for years.

Earlier this month, Princess Kate showed her support for fashion mogul Victoria Beckham by wearing one of her tailored suits on the very day the designer’s Netflix series premiered.

Meanwhile, her caramel Roland Mouret ensemble looked as though it could have stepped straight off Meghan Markle’s New York press circuit.

It’s clear the Princess has fully embraced a new, elevated approach to power dressing.

While Meghan’s take leans into Hollywood polish — sharp tailoring, sleek monochrome tones, and relaxed open blazers. Kate’s interpretation feels more restrained, refined, and distinctly royal.
