A remotely-piloted drone has assisted in an arrest ending a three-year police investigation into numerous offences in the NSW’s west.
Two homes were reportedly broken into in Moore on March 5, which was investigated by officers attached to New England Police district.
A 36-year-old man was arrested at about 11:40am on Monday with the help of a drone.

The video captured by the drone, shows the man being chased out of the backyard by a pack of dogs.
The man is alter seen running off before being captured by police.
However, this investigation starts in May 2023 where a vehicle was allegedly stolen from a caravan park on Amaroo Dr in Moree.
Officers later found the vehicle abandoned and burnt out on George St.
Nearly a year later, on February 27, 2024, officers received reports of an alleged break and enter at a home on Hargrave St in Leumeah.

On the same day, only a three minute drive away, police received reports that a person’s bag was allegedly stolen at a hotel on Railway Street, Campbelltown.
Several purchases were reportedly made on the credit card from the bag.
Six months later, two separate warrants were issued by Campbelltown Local Court and Moree Local Court for the arrest of a 36-year-old man, according to police.
He was taken to Moore Police station after his arrest on Monday, where two outstanding warrants were executed.
He has been charged with the following:
larceny value less than equal to $2000 (two counts),
enter vehicle or boat without consent of owner,
break and enter house etc steal value
steal property in dwelling-house more than $2000 and less than equal to $5000
steal property in dwelling house-house,
steal from the person value less than equal to $2000, and
dishonestly obtain financial advantage etc by deception.
The man was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Division Court 5 on Tuesday.
