La FIA muestra nuevas imágenes en la que se ven los cambios en los coches de dentro de dos años

La FIA se ha lanzado a mostrar una serie de imágenes en las que podemos ver como podrían ser los coches de la F1 en 2026.
Recordemos que el año que viene será una especie de periodo de transición antes de que llegue la nueva reglamentación. Habrá que estar muy pendientes de todo lo que tenga que ver con los chasis. Lo que sí se sabe es que las escuderías tendrán una mayor libertad desde el punto de vista aerodinámico, tras hacer patente sus preocupaciones con el borrador de este nuevo vuelco en la categoría reina del automovilismo.

En estos bocetos expuestos por el organismo rector del automovilismo existe una diferencia importante en ambos ambos alerones (delantero y trasero). Hay cambios en los endplates, que parecen nuevos y se percibe un diseño más agresivo para las entradas en la parte delantera del suelo.
Lo más llamativo tiene que ver con el alerón trasero. Esta última versión se parece al concepto de los coches actuales. Y se debe tener presente que si bien ahora mismo el DRS sólo está permitido como ayuda para adelantar a rivales, a partir del curso 2026 los competidores podrán aumentar el rendimiento sin las limitaciones actuales. De hecho, se introducirá el Manual Override para posibilitar que los pilotos sigan recibiendo asistencia para adelantar en función de la proximidad. Además, se percibe un diseño de carenado de rueda más plano que el contemplado en la versión anterior.

Los nuevos motores
Por otro lado, lo esencial tendrá que ver con las unidades de potencia. Los nuevos motores no contarán con un MGU-H, sino con un MGU-K mucho más potente. Eso implica que la energía eléctrica representará aproximadamente la mitad de la potencia total.
Por último, cabe destacar que los nuevos coches serán un poco más estrechos (tendrán 1,9 metros de anchura) que los actuales, con ruedas más pequeñas, un límite de peso inferior (768 Kg sin gasolina) y más cortos (tendrán 3,4 metros de distancia entre ejes).
