Princess Beatrice’s husband confessed it is “time to go home” after travelling in a new cryptic admission on social media.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi signalled the end of a busy week on Saturday with a simple update on Instagram.
Sharing an aerial shot of Mumbai with the caption “time to go home”, the property developer indicated he was flying back to the UK after a short trip that also took in Malaysia earlier this week.
Earlier in the week, he had posted nighttime city views from Kuala Lumpur to his Instagram Story, followed by a series of photos from India on Friday.
Edoardo, 41, and Beatrice, 37, live primarily in the Cotswolds, where they have a countryside home, but also maintain a London apartment at St James’s Palace.
The property gives them a foothold in the capital while allowing Beatrice to remain close to family events in London.

His return comes at a turbulent time for the York family. Prince Andrew is understood to be in advanced talks to leave Royal Lodge, the 30-room home in Windsor Great Park where he has lived for more than two decades.
Despite holding a long lease, discussions are said to be ongoing about a move to smaller accommodation following renewed scrutiny of his position within the family.
A banner bearing Andrew’s coat of arms was also removed from St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle this week.
The banner, which had hung alongside others belonging to members of the Order of the Garter, was taken down shortly after Andrew announced that he would no longer use his Duke of York title.

The move was widely interpreted as another sign of the royal household distancing itself from him.
The developments have reportedly left Princess Beatrice and her sister Princess Eugenie reeling from the fallout.
The pair are said to have been keeping a low profile amid the ongoing headlines surrounding their father.
Beatrice, who works in finance and is known for maintaining a low-key public presence, has not commented publicly on the matter, but was pictured driving into Royal Lodge on Monday.

Edoardo’s understated “home” message appears to mark a quiet return to normality after days of travel and family turmoil.
Beatrice and Edoardo married in 2020 and share two daughters, Sienna, born in 2021, and Athena, born in January 2025, as well as Edoardo’s son Christopher “Wolfie” from his previous relationship.
The couple are often described as leading a grounded life between their rural retreat and their London base, away from the full glare of royal attention.
The timing of his post, following a week of intense coverage around the Yorks, underscores a shift back to family life for Beatrice and Edoardo as they return to their home in the Cotswolds.
