Britain’s Got Talent is set to return to TV screens in two weeks, with ITV releasing the first trailer ahead of the new series.

In an official promo released on Saturday, bosses revealed that the much loved variety talent show will be back at the end of the month and offered fans a glimpse of what is to come.

The brand-new promo clip, featured presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli plus guest judge, singer, boxer and YouTuber, KSI.

But the judging lineup is not the only change that has taken place to this year’s show as the short video opens with a clip of Blackpool Tower, which is where ‘a large chunk’ of the auditions have been held, rather than the traditional London.

This series will also be on for double the amount of time, making it the longest series ever, in a huge shake-up to its normal scheduling.

As the video starts, Dec’s voice can be heard saying: ‘Please take your seats, the show is about to start’ before the judges walk their way down through the excited audience, high fiveing and whooping.

Whilst head judge Simon appears very cool and collected wearing a pair of orange tinted glasses and throwing a peace sign to the crowd, Bruno seems the total opposite as he is seen running down the stairs, very excited.

Amanda and Alesha promise to continue to bring the glam, as the promo video sees them both dressed to impress in very stylish getups, complete with a full face of makeup.

Amanda tells the contestants ‘you have two minutes to change your life’ before a montage of iconic auditions are shown.

Viewers can expect to see some ‘eye-popping’ auditions including dancers, gymnasts, musicians, circus style acts, plus a whole lot more.

The hopeful contestants will all battle it out for their place to perform in front of His Majesty at the Royal Variety Show.

Also returning this year is the golden buzzer. Whilst the video doesn’t show viewers who they press for, it does show you Simon and Dec both give an act the opportunity to go straight through to the semi finals.

KSI was asked to stand in for Bruno Tonioli when he spent time in the US to serve on the judging panel of Dancing With The Stars.

According to The Sun, the social media influencer will take over for Bruno for three of the five days the show has its first round of auditions in Blackpool this month.

An insider said of the signing: ‘Their new judge doesn’t just know a thing or two about entertaining, he has a colossal following who are largely young and tech savvy, which is just the sort of viewer that the show now thrives on.

‘BGT isn’t just a TV show it’s a global internet phenomenon as well, with clips of the various acts being watched a staggering 24 billion times around the world. Which is why KSi is the perfect match, as his music alone has been streamed 2.7billion times.’

Speaking about joining the show, KSI said: ‘I’m so excited to be a guest judge for BGT. When I got the call up, I couldn’t believe it. I remember watching old BGT episodes and going from being amazed to laughing my a**e off. I’m buzzing to see all the fresh new talent, and I’ll be sure to leave a mark.’

It is believed that the content creator was brought in to attract younger audiences.

A source told The Sun in 2023: ‘Simon Cowell knows KSI is a huge hit with the younger generation.

‘He would be a great addition to pull in teenage fans, which is something the producers are keen to do.

‘KSI is chatting to bosses in the hope of agreeing a deal that would also work with his hectic schedule.’

When KSI was first rumoured to join the panel, Simon, 65, had to shut down whispers that Bruno was being axed permanently.

Last year confirmed that the Italian choreographer will be returning next year despite scheduling clashes but admitted there will be some sort of stand-in.

Appearing on Heart Radio, the music mogul explained: ‘I would not replace him. I love Bruno on the show.’

Simon explained that there was a problem with Bruno’s schedule, therefore the star had be replaced for some of the auditions that he is unable to attend.

Clearing up the rumours Host Jamie Theakston asked the star: ‘I’m gonna read you a headline from one of the papers today Simon… ‘Britain’s Got Talent set to drop judge, Bruno”

As Simon confessed the headline was false, Jamie pressed: ‘Okay, well, what of that isn’t truth?

Simon explained: ‘Seriously. I spoke to… I don’t know where all this stuff comes from. I spoke to the producers literally two weeks ago about there is a scheduling issue with Bruno.

‘Because we’re doing the auditions… some of the auditions this year and he’s going to be in America.

‘So maybe there’ll be a stand in for him. I don’t know. But I love Bruno on the show. I think he’s brilliant.’

Fellow judge Amanda agreed as she added: ‘He brings such an amazing energy and he knows so much.’

‘And he knows so much about what he’s talking about. And actually, he’s a brilliant, brilliant judge and the nicest person. So no, I would not replace him,’ Simon added.

‘So… Bruno’s coming back?’ asked Jamie as Simon confirmed once and for all: ‘He’s coming back.’
