Prince Harry was blasted by an expert after his accusations against a key senior working royal in his memoir, Spare, made him an “outcast”.

Prince Harry was heavily criticised for his “paranoid accusations” against Queen Camilla in his bombshell memoir, Spare, which has resulted in him being the “outcast” instead, an author has claimed.

The Duke of Sussex released his bombshell book last year, and in it, he painted his stepmother in a less-than-favourable light.

Harry mentioned Camilla several times and accused her of being “dangerous” and leaking negative stories to the press, allegedly “sacrificing him on her personal PR altar”. He also pondered whether she would become his and William’s “wicked stepmother” before her marriage to Charles in 2005.

The Queen was reportedly left “hurt” by the claims while the King was said to be furious with his son.

Now, following a new Channel 4 documentary titled Queen Camilla: The Wicked Stepmother?, an author blasted the duke and claimed the King’s wife did not “deserve this kind of treatment”.

A.N.Wilson, author of the Substack anwilson, wrote for the Mail that it is highly unlikely that the Queen indeed leaked stories to the press about Harry and Meghan as there is no evidence of it – and it could have been any member of staff from the Royal Household to leak details to the press.

He said: “The Royal Households are full of people, including large numbers of staff, and the institution of royal courts is leaky.

“No one has ever presented a shred of evidence that, after Kate and Meghan had a row, Camilla’s side immediately leaked the story.

“Frankly, it’s impossible to imagine such a turn of events.”

Mr Wilson then went on to say that Camilla is “the best thing that has happened to the Royal Family since the Queen Mother” as she has supported the monarch throughout the biggest moments of his life, including his cancer diagnosis, with her “solid qualities of common sense and humour”.

The author claimed that nearly 25 years after her marriage to King Charles, Camilla has turned out to be favourable among royal fans, unlike the duke, who was dubbed “the despised outcast”.

He said: “When Charles’s marriage to Diana was breaking up, Camilla was described as the most hated woman in Britain.

“Twenty-five years have passed since then, and even the most fervent Diana fans can now see that she has helped rebuild not only Charles’s self-confidence but also the plausibility of the monarchy.

“It is Harry, not her, who today is the despised outcast. Whatever Channel 4 may wish us to believe.”
