Princess Beatrice moved to tears after his father, Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, made the biggest mistake of his life on a public platform.
The 65-year-old infamous Newnight interview is not hidden from anyone. After the death of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, Andrew discussed his past links with the paedophile, which turned into a “disastrous” moment for the Yorks.
The Mirror reported that before the interview, a meeting was held to discuss the content of the conversation, which was also attended by Beatrice.
One of the executives who was present in the discussion, Sam McAlister, said that it was pretty hard for the eldest daughter of the York household to see his father “discussing his relationship” with the controversial financier.
On her 36th birthday, Beatrice was “quite tearful at times. In fact, [she] has been in tears every day since the interview went out.”
An insider further shared, “Both Sarah and Andrew rely on Beatrice’s judgement a lot when it comes to dealing with the public as she’s got an old head on young shoulders. You can’t really blame Beatrice because I think the odds were stacked against her on this one.”
However, this time Princess Beatrice left “mortified” by the outcome of her father’s presence on The Newsnight.
Most recently, the Yorks are in a difficult position after King Charles confirmed that he initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Andrew, especially after resurfaced links with Epstein.
