Mr Beast’s hit competition returns to Prime Video in a matter of days with 200 contestants
YouTuber Mr Beast is launching a brand new series of the hit competition Beast Games on Prime Video, arriving sooner than expected.
The inaugural season, which aired from December 2024 to January 2025, was a phenomenal success, becoming Prime’s most-watched unscripted programme ever with 50 million viewers in merely 25 days.
The show is set to return for a second season within days, boasting an enormous prize fund of $5,000,000 – approximately £3.7 million – making it among the largest cash prizes in reality competition history.
Entitled ‘Strong vs Smart’, the new season will feature 200 contestants comprising 100 of the world’s strongest competitors alongside 100 of the world’s brightest minds as they battle it out.
Pledging to be “bigger, bolder and more intense than ever”, Prime Video reveals: “As players face off in the ultimate collision of brain and biceps; alliances will form and trust will break.”

In a further demonstration of the show’s success, a third season has already been greenlit, as announced during the Amazon Upfront presentation in May.
Sneak peek and competitions
Prime Video has previously unveiled an action-packed trailer highlighting some “big time players” and “big time games”. The preview offered viewers a glimpse into a special crossover instalment featuring the Emmy Award-winning programme Survivor and its iconic presenter Jeff Probst.
Prime Video reveals: “Beast Games contestants will take on a hybrid challenge course that blends Beast Games’ larger-than-life innovation with Survivor’s groundbreaking format.
“The special incorporates authentic Survivor elements-including mid-challenge bribes, strategic twists, and signature physical obstacles-resulting in an episode that seamlessly bridges the worlds of content creators and traditional television.”
