90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way star Kenneth “Kenny” Niedermeier has shared a heartbreaking tribute to a very special member of his family. Kenny from Florida found himself moving all the way to Mexico for Armando Rubio, who he met on a support group for gay dads. Both Kenny and Armando became a 90 Day Fiancé fan-favorite couple in no time due to the wholesome nature of their relationship and their drama-free storyline. Kenny and Armando got married in May 2021 and, despite Kenny having four grown kids and him having a teenage daughter Hannah, Armando wanted a new baby.

Kenny and Armando clashed in 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way over the baby issue, and while they were trying surrogacy as an option, fans never got an update after season 5.

Kenny is still refusing to share details of his baby journey with Armando which suggests the couple is saving it for a new show. Meanwhile, Kenny also seems to be missing someone who was extremely close to him. Kenny has shared a picture of his dog Truffles, who was his only companion by his side when Kenny moved to Mexico. Truffles became a favorite of everyone watching Kenny and Armando’s journey. It’s been three years since Truffles passed away. Kenny captioned his post, “3 years of missing you” and added “6/5/2004 – 1/30/2022.”

Kenny announced that his dear Truffles had passed away in January 2022 through a very emotional Instagram post. Kenny admitted that he was heartbroken and felt a great sense of loss. Kenny had spent every day for two decades with Truffles and given her a life filled with love and happiness. Like Kenny, Truffles also loved to travel. She’d already been to 25 states and three countries in her lifetime. She spent her golden years on the 90 Day Fiancé adventure when Kenny took a cross-country road trip with her to go settle in Mexico.

Truffles is still considered one of the most well-behaved pets in the franchise. She has appeared not only on The Other Way but also in several episodes of Pillow Talk, Strikes Back, and even 90 Day Diaries. She assisted Kenny and Armando in hundreds of Cameos. Truffles was more than just a dog to Kenny – she was a part of his family. Kenny still feels the emptiness inside of him when he remembers the time he spent with the calm and gentle soul. She gave him the kind of unconditional love which is unforgettable.
